Technology can be used to protect the environment and to avoid that constant growing population's needs waste or degrade our planet's material and energy resources. It is this protection and use of natural resources eagerness what motivated us to stablish our headquarters in a corner of Euskal Herria , the Basque lands.

The influence of the working environment on employees' well-being and productivity is receiving growing attention in modern life. According to recent studies, the workplace has a major impact on workers' well-being and affects the involvement to the company. From our offices, a view of an idyllic landscape of mountains and sea, is very worth to be gazed in the surrounding silence. At Larráioz we don't hear engine nor turbine sound, but the wind in Spring, or the crisp sound of leaves underfoot in Autumn. The Body, and particularly the Brain, need oxygen to work at peak capacity: at Larráioz the air we breathe is free of smoke and pollution.

Traffic jams and noise is cause of stress every morning to millions of workers their way to work. In order to get to Larráioz there is just a mountains surrounded winding road and its driving is the beginning of the wide amount of feelings we live every day on our pleasant home-to-work trip.

Our contribution to sustainability:

•  Our water is supplied from a private spring
•  We recycle organic waste in the firm by composting it down
•  We selectively collect used packaging, glass and paper for recycling
•  We selectively collect batteries and other electronic waste
•  We treat sewage by decantation and biological filtering in situ
•  Our headquarters area is a designated Place of Community Interest, and we conserve our surroundings and protected species
•  An estimated 1 tonne per year of CO 2 is absorbed by crops which we grow ourselves
•  We produce 35% of the electricity that we consume (this percentage is planned to increase).

In addition, our employees operate a car-sharing scheme to reduce the environmental impact of the journey to and from work.

In short, we practise what we preach: moderate and rational use of natural resources for the creation of high technology products.
